Sosúa to STI airport transfer

When we recommend leaving Sosúa

We recommend a lobby pickup 3.5 hours before your flight from Sosúa. The route runs through Puerto Plata and then climbs the Gregorio Luperón highway over the Cordillera Septentrional back to Santiago, so the 75–95 minute range already accounts for the pass; what varies is the stretch through El Batey and Puerto Plata town at busier hours. STI clears quickly once you arrive, so this buffer is mostly about the drive and hotel checkout, not a long airport process. Add 20–30 minutes for a group of six or more or a villa checkout with a manager walkthrough.

How the Sosúa pickup runs

1. 1Send us your hotel or villa, flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp.
2. 2We reply with the written price and the recommended lobby pickup time.
3. 3The driver arrives early and waits at the lobby or gate with your name.
4. 4Direct 75–95 minute drive over the Cordillera Septentrional to STI departures.

• Sosúa by the Sea Boutique Beach Resort

Resort gate and lobby pickup

For Casa Marina Beach & Reef, Sosúa Bay Beach Resort, Piergiorgio Palace Hotel and Presidential Suites Cabarete-Sosúa, the driver waits at the lobby entrance with your name. For hillside villas, send the address and gate details and the driver comes to the door.

Luggage and bigger groups

Snorkel gear and beach bags are common here on top of normal luggage. Tell us the case and passenger count so we send an SUV or van that fits everything in one trip.

7–14 passengers ride in a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP for this zone.

Night and early-morning departures

Early flights from STI are routine and a pre-dawn Sosúa pickup costs the same as a midday one. We confirm the exact time by WhatsApp the evening before.
