Where Jarabacoa Mountain Hotel sits and where we stop

Jarabacoa Mountain Hotel sits above the town centre on the road that eventually continues toward the La Ciénaga trailhead used for Pico Duarte hikes, so the final approach is uphill with a few switchbacks once you are through town. Guests connecting on to a Pico Duarte trip often overnight here first; the driver is used to the extra elevation gain and the narrower road surface compared with the valley floor. The drive from STI is 60 to 80 minutes overall.

How the pickup works

1. 1Send your flight number, date and party size on WhatsApp — we confirm the $89 Standard / $149 VIP price in writing.
2. 2We track the flight, so a delay or an early landing does not change anything.
3. 3Your driver waits in the STI arrivals hall with a name sign, just past the exit doors.
4. 4Direct 60–80 minute mountain drive through Jarabacoa town and uphill to the hotel's entrance.

Bigger groups and luggage

Up to six passengers ride in one Standard vehicle at $89. For 7–14 passengers we send a passenger van: +$20 on Standard, +$40 on VIP. Send the luggage count with the booking — golf bags, strollers and car seats are all fine, we just size the vehicle before the day instead of at the curb.
